Whistler Molten Experience features

Announcing the Third glorious year of the annual Whistler Molten Experience.  We keep having so much fun, we’re doing it again!
Our headline demonstrator is the amazing and incomparable

J.C. Herrell

from Sacramento, CA, USA

Glass bead artists from far and wide assemble at this exclusive retreat. Our event may be little, but it’s not small.  The tickets are precious and few, and those lucky enough to get registered in time will have an experience they’ll not soon forget.

Held at a private resort in the famous resort municipality of Whistler, BC, it is only one and a half hour drive northwest of Vancouver.

The lodge sits on the shores of tranquil glacier-fed Green Lake. It’s a peaceful, meditative location full of glass-crazed artists, all sharing their talents, techniques and stories throughout a magical weekend. What more could a glass adventurer ask for?

There will also be special demos, open-torch stations to play at, and an area for selling, swapping and hanging out. All meals are included in the fee, so you are free to just relax, feel inspired and be with friends who share your love of glass bead making.

Registration opens December 1 , 2013

Beer & Beadz – October 2013

October’s B&B was hosted by Suzanne Basnett.  It was a good turn out.  Suzanne opened her warm cozy studio to us where several members got a chance to play with her Scorpion torch.  Suzanne plays with Boro glass!  She also likes to fuse glass and has a large kiln exclusively for this in her studio.

thanks for hosting Suzanne.

Sorry for my bad pictures.  I need a lesson on iphone photography 🙂

Whistler Molten Experience

Whistler Molten Experience - 2014Mark your calendars for this fabulous event!  May 2 – 4, 2014

I’m told the headliner for this event is AWESOME!!!! but a secret for now.  I’m told it will be announced very soon.

Registration will open December 1  and the organizing committee recommends you book early, as there is a lot of interest and they expect to sell out fast.

They are going to need a few more volunteers on the days of the event, and if
you’d be interested in lending a hand please let them know.  They say thank you in
anticipation.

Here’s the link to the Whistler Molten Experience page.  http://www.moltenexperience.ca
