"Molten Obsessions 2008" is the fifth in a series of well-received exhibits showcasing exciting new work emerging from the torches of glass beadmakers across Canada. The Pacific Pyros Glass Beadmakers are hosting the exhibit this year along with the Mission Art Council, and are pleased to announce that the show will be held at the Mission Leisure Centre in Mission, BC. The show will run from Saturday, July 5th, 2008 until August 1st , 2008. The show includes work from established and emerging artists across Canada, as well as three artists currently making art glass beads in Mission. The exhibit includes single art glass beads, as well as elaborate jewellery for sale; it will also feature an educational display of how art glass beads are made, along with a special display of items currently held in local private collections.
