www.placedesarts.ca

This show is the sixth in a series of successful and very well received glass beadmaking shows. The beads are unique and made by hand, and most are lampworked in a torch. Our goals are to promote awareness of glass beadmaking in Canada, and to inspire and encourage creative development among contemporary beadmakers.

Place des Arts is a non-profit integrated teaching arts centre offering a variety of innovative programs in music, visual arts, dance and drama for all ages, skill levels and interests. In our three gallery spaces and gift shop, we showcase the work of emerging artists and artisans. Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy music concerts, workshops and special events.
