The girls are getting excited about all the beautiful beads.

Some of Stephanie's gorgeous beads.

Joanne gets prepared for her demo.

Joanne's preparing her glass

Melanie, Leslie and Maria watching Joanne with their cool shades.

Aimee, Stephanie and Naz watch closely as Joanne makes a large gather in clear boro.

Joanne flattens the end of the the gather creating a maria - ready for some decoration

The decorating begins.

Joanne adds some cool colour to the maria.

Joanne explains how the implosion theory works.

After superheating the decorated maria is pushed flat again

Superheating the implosion again.

A close-up of the implosion coming together.

Now Joanne adds a dark background colour.

The implosion is now superheated to round out the front.

Clear glass is used to form a loop to turn the implosion into a pendant.

The added glass will be turned into a loop.

Shaping the loop just so  .

  Getting the hole just so.

And a final heating to make sure the loop is well attached.

Ta da...the finished pendant...great job Joanne.

Joanne is now going to demonstrate a mushroom marble.

Stephanie, Aimee, Naz and Leslie are enjoying the demo.

Joanne punties up to take the marble off the rod.

Naz watches as the marble gets a final fire polish.

Voila, the finished mushroom marble.

Elizabeth, Maria and Melanie try their hand at marbles and implosions

 Maria's getting into it too.

A lovely mushroom pendant.

A nice round mushroom marble

Melanie's made a lovely tube bead.
