Suzanne, Elizabeth and Victoria talking glass.

Little feet, could it be the wicked witch of the west? Nah! Just Andy.

Ania making a bicone with Suzanne looking on.

Naz taking care of little Andy while mom is on the torch.

Elizabeth brought along some friends. Here Melisa is trying her hand at the torch.
Okay, now the little one is happy - mom's off the torch.

Melanie gives us a demo on how she uses her molds and presses the hot glass into them.
Once Melanie has gathered a large ball of glass she is ready to push it into the mold using the large marver.

Here is the pressed face.

Melanie takes some scissors and cuts the glass around the face.

Ready for the kiln - Melanie is done.

Andrea and Melisa are looking at Elizabeth's beads.

Melanie then had us go outside so she could show us how she gets the wax part away from the Mold Mix 6.

This is the Mold Mix 6 side that we want to be left with.

Ready for heating - Melanie has everything set up. There is water in the bowl that will capture the wax and then it can be reused.
Melanie heats around the base of the mold to melt the wax.

At times it does not look pretty, but once all the wax is removed you should be left with a beautiful white mold ready for use.

Another shot of melting the wax.

This is what the outside of the mold looks like when she's done.
This is the inside. Thanks Melanie for a great demo!!

Cezanne beads. Joanne has annealed all the demo beads and if you want to pick yours up you are more than welcome to.

These are some of the Double Helix colours - this one is Khaos.
