May’s Beer & Beads will be held at Aimee Promislow’s studio on May 27, that’s a Wednesday evening.
Her address details are in the May newsletter sent out earlier. We are going to get ready for the 40 bead challenge!!! In June, the Pacific Pyros (at Barb’s Beer and Beads) will be challenging the Calgary Molten Crew to the 40 bead challenge. Melanie Graham will give each person who is interested in participating an idea of two colours to use. We all need to step out of our comfort zone so Melanie will work with you to decide on two colours so that we don’t have to purchase new glass. And…when the beads are completed they will donated to the Beads of Courage.
In preparation Amy would like each of us to make two beads in two colours. Remember these are to be made without tools. This months challenge is 2 coloured beads made without using tools as a warm up for the 40 bead challenge and a tool swap. (Bring a tool that you can either trade or sell)
This challenge originated from Heather Trimlett and her rules will be our guidelines. [Here’s the link to the rules.](http://www.heathertrimlett.com/40-beads/index.htm).
