Ania Kyte of TurtleBeads Studio - Mission, B.C.
Ania has been a jewelry designer since 1997, and was always drawn to all type of glass art. She was thrilled to find out that she could work with glass on a small scale, and started lampworking in September 2001. She has since expanded her jewelry designs using her own beads, and does a lot of custom work for her clients. To create her beads, Ania uses a Nortel Minor torch with Italian glass, and a Hot Head torch with Japanese glass, along with a digital Olympic Murano kiln to anneal the beads for strength and durability.
