Bling! Wearable Glass Art Sale

Our first annual “wearable glass art” show and sale was held at the Tabula Rasa Studio beside the Terminal City Glass Co-op.  The show was open from noon – 6 pm and the space looked and felt great with 18 glass artists participating.  We had coffee, cake and cookies along with hourly gift draws of donations from the participating artists.

The beadmaking demos by Janice Blair, Melanie Graham, Diane Thompson and Melanie Rowe had customers mesmerized for hours.

While we only had a budget for minimal advertising, we did manage to bring in 100+ customers.  Thank you to everyone for passing the word.  In 2016 this event will be at a different time and venue and more artists will be able to participate.  More details to follow later ….

Thanks to all who participated and to the customers who came in to support our first annual event.

Ignite the Passion

Twins, Melanie Rowe and Leslie Rowe-Israelson have embarked on a lifelong journey to create with glass. Living and working in the heart of the Canadian Rockies for the last twenty years, they draw inspiration from the beauty of the mountains, especially in the Banff and Jasper National Parks. Ignite the Passion conjures up fascination, enthusiasm, and excitement, drawing the viewer closer to search deep inside the work as if searching one’s own soul.
