I’m confused about this new computer system and having to renew and login and change my password etc. Help please?

I didn’t get an email with my username and temporary password. What should I do?

Sometimes these types of emails end up in your junkmail or spam folder. If you’ve checked and the email is nowhere to be found then contact info@pacificpyros.org and a new password will be issued to you.

I‘ve logged into my account and tried to change my temporary password but I’m getting an error.

If you are seeing the following message:

Very weak – Please enter a stronger password.
Hint: The password should be at least twelve characters long. To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols like !*?$%^)

Just as the error says, you’ve tried to enter a weak password. In order to better maintain site security strong passwords are required.

Ok I‘ve logged in to my account, I’ve changed my password, and it‘s a doozy! but when I go to the Members Only page I am still prompted to login. I can’t get to the Members Only area. What’s up??

Sorry about that. The way our membership system works is as follows:
All orders paid by Cash or Cheque will be in a “Processing” state until your payment has been received. Once your payment has been received you will be set to “Completed” status.  This process won’t take long. It’s a manual process, a matter of changing your status in the system. If you paid by Paypal your status should automatically be set to “Completed” right away.

Once your status is changed to Completed you should be able to login to the Members Only area without issue.

Why do we have to sign up or renew our memberships on the computer. Why can’t I just pay someone cash and be done with it?

You CAN still pay by cash or cheque to one of our Executive members at a meeting.  The new Membership system is being used to keep track of our membership and the money collected for dues etc. This will eliminate the use of spreadsheets for record keeping and generally make things easier for your Executive who are all volunteers, some with full time jobs other than beadmaking. This new system will also give you access to the Members Only section and content, ensure you are on the mailing list, and if you are interested, provide you access to our private Facebook Group.

How do I register for Bling?

To register for Bling, click on the Bling image in the Members Only area. The page that opens will have instructions for registration and a link to purchasing your table configuration. Complete the registration form and add the appropriate table to your cart, checkout and your done.

To register for Bling you must be a member in good standing.
