I developed my glass fascination at a young age while watching glass blowing demonstrations at Disneyland. I have always been someone who enjoyed creative hobbies, but when I discovered lampworking in 2010, I was hooked for life. Because of its soothing texture and stimulating light, glass is more than an object to me – it is creativity, fascination and expression.

As a beginner, I searched for everything I could about this fascinating art form to learn new techniques and soon discovered Beads of Courage, a program that helps children with serious illness through beads.  The children tell their story of courage through beads.

Creating a bead with eyes and facial expressions became my passion, and I contribute the majority of my bead creations to this wonderful program.
