a Pyros Christmas

a Pyros Christmas

Well for our Holiday Beer & Beads, this one was a laugh! Literally, I mean all we did was LAUGH. and eat!

We weren’t a large group, 11 pyros and a couple of husbands, but those who attended were treated to homemade sushi, tourtiere and wine. Thank you Ikuyo and Roger for hosting and putting up with us all.

In attendance we had Rosa from Comox, Mel, Trudy, Alicia, and Shelley from Chilliwack, Cathy, Joanne, and Bette from Vancouver, and the rest of us from the tri-cities area. Everyone brought a little something to add to the food and we ended up with several very yummy platters, dips, and deserts.

To reinstate our annual tradition, there was a gift exchange. For years now we’ve played the steal a gift game. This means your gift isn’t safe until it’s been stolen twice. As I remember, I was the only one to steal a gift and came away with a hand model that will add to my photo props and an awesome gnome ribbon that is now hanging in my studio! Sorry Naaz!! What a hoot! I can’t remember laughing so hard.

Anyway, from the pictures I’ve posted below, you can see we did A LOT of laughing. We all had a good time and things broke up around 9pm.
