Pyros at the Landmark Gallery

In August 2023, the Pacific Pyros had the opportunity to host our work at the Landmark Gallery. The Landmark Pop-Uptown Gallery is a place where local artists are onsite to exhibit their art and engage with visitors.

Each month a new group is installed so the media is constantly changing. Our group, while not large, filled the space nicely and we opened our installation on August 3 to the public.

The gallery layout was a long narrow room with big picture windows at the front so passers-by can look in the window and see right away what is offered. Each artist was required to help with staffing and so each day open had 2 or 3 pyros ready to talk to the visitors and wrap up their purchases.

Many thanks to Barb, Cathy, Joanne, who put in a lot of hours getting things organized. They made sure we were all on the same page with the many moving parts of an event like this. A special thanks to Trudy who did a great job putting together daily social media posts featuring the daily artists.
